Photographic Manifestation
In February of 2005, Meridjet went to visit a friend in Pittsburgh. This particular friend is talented at catching spirits on film, so for the first time it occurred to me to ask her to try photographing him. I had picked up a mental visual of where he was standing, and I told her, and she snapped a couple of pictures.
It was about 4 a.m. and there was no flash used. Below are the original photos and some photo manipulations done by various people to show what it looks like with treatment.
Above is the first picture she took, and below is the second. Clearly there is something in the first picture that isn’t in the second. If you look in the television screen of the second photo though (the TV was off), you can see a shape resembling a face. Click the images to see bigger versions.
Below is the first shot, taken into a basic photo editing program. All I clicked was “autofix” which adjusts the brightness and contrast. Click the images to see larger versions.
Above is the original photo, marked where someone saw the face in the TV and an orb. Below is that photo, lighten and slightly sharpened.
Below are two more manipulations to show other perspectives. The first shows the specific area of the “light squiggly” sharpened, and the second shows that photo set to Negative.
