I have perceived Meridjet talking to what appeared to be angelic beings. I was not able to perceive what the discussion was about. It’s been several years since I saw this happen, and several years since I’ve had any angelic encounters at all (last was December 2000).

We now have many friends who have spirit companions. The first one I met was Donald Tyson. I wrote to him in late 1999 when an online friend told me that he was writing a book on spirit lovers (the book was Sexual Alchemy). We started an email correspondence that has continued, off and on, to the present. I was also the first person with a spirit lover to contact Don. Soon thereafter, another woman, Sheila Lord, contacted Don and he put us in contact with each other. I met one other person through Don, and meanwhile, met two others on my own. With one of these I was able to witness his spirit companion’s first arrival.

Since I was having so much trouble finding others in this unusual situation, I started a Yahoogroup for people with spirit companions (SCs) to meet. That was in March of 2001, and things were very slow for about 2 years. Then in the summer of 2003 it really took off. Currently there are well over 100 members on the list. In 2004, I started a community at LiveJournal. I also started Spirit Companion.com in 2005, which is now this blog. There is a new community as of 2008, at InsaneJournal, which is not active yet and may never pick up. We’ll see.

Back to the point. Meridjet’s contact with other spiritual beings as far as my awareness went was always sort of casual and businesslike. He’d do what needed done, and then come back to me and that’d be it. Then starting in 2003 he had one associate among other SCs whom he was mentoring and hanging out with to a large degree. I didn’t notice a lack of him being around, but it was clear that they didn’t need to share space in order to communicate. He led me to talk to the woman who is partnered to this other SC, and she and I became friends as he and the other SC became friends. We all worked together quite a bit between late summer of 2003 and March of 2004, during which time Meridjet taught them how to go from dream contact only to a functional conscious connection. This also allowed the spirit in question to “evolve” from his one-note “incubus-like” existence into a being rich in diversity. In March, we parted ways with the other couple, then regrouped in October of 2004. After another year of contact we elected to cease communications on a permanent basis as we felt we were doing each other more harm than good.

On two separate occasions, he brought his associate over here to see me, and I was able to perceive him. I could see and hear him and feel his energy signature clearly. I am also able to discern spirits’ energy signatures via their human contacts through instant messaging, if they were in contact at the time. Since that first visit I’ve seen many other spirits, most of them companions of friends.

Update 2007 —

Since we met the above couple in 2003, we have made an enormous quantity of friends with spirit companions, and I’ve taught dozens to astral project. The activity on the subtle planes is substantial at times and quiet at others, but there’s usually someone around who is eager to participate. I’ve coined several new terms to describe this work. One is phasewalking, which is a conscious form of astral projection that can be done while fully aware of your physical surroundings. Meridjet has introduced several other people to their spirit companions, as well, and has gained something of a following. We even have a tongue-in-cheek fan club for him. He sucks it up, the ham. I’ll try to add more to this page soon.
