- Phasing model — coined by Robert Monroe Coming soon!
- Phasewalking — coined by Sheta Kaey and Kinjou Ten, with a nod to Robert Monroe. Based on the Phasing model of astral projection described by Robert Monroe, phasewalking is projecting to the astral plane(s) to interact with others (or whatever) while conscious. This is accomplished by refocusing the conscious mind to another frequency, a la changing a radio station (an analogy used by Meridjet, and interestingly, also by Mr. Monroe).
- Photoscrying — coined by Kinjou Ten and Sheta Kaey. The practice of scrying using photographs, as a tool to aid interaction with spirit companions. One compiles a selection of photographs resembling the companion, then (at various times) chooses a photograph or feels led to one, then keeps it nearby while working online, glancing at it often or occasionally. Via internal processing, the photograph allows the person to integrate new aspects of the SC’s personality. Even if these aspects are familiar already, photoscrying somehow manages to clarify or otherwise enrich the assimilation and understanding of those aspects. It also works with artwork.

- Psychic Exhaustion — coined by Sheta Kaey. With regular use, as in the case of having a spirit companion, the subtle senses will become exhausted and refuse to function until they are rested, after which they will work fine again. It is easy to believe that the spirit is gone during this silence, and if you are a person in fear of your sanity, it’s very easy to take this silence as proof that you’re deluded. But after a few days rest, all will be well and the strength of the returning sensations will be impossible to doubt. It can take years to strengthen these senses to the point that they no longer stop functioning due to exhaustion. Be patient.
