Meridjet’s Contact with Other Spirits

On several occasions, I have perceived Meridjet talking to what appeared to be angelic beings. I was not able to perceive what the discussion was about. I witnessed the bulk of this type of interaction back when I was doing daily ritual (LBRP, etc), and angels were a near-constant presence.

We have many friends who have spirit companions. The first one I met was Donald Tyson. I wrote to him in late 1999 when I heard that he was writing a book on spirit lovers (the book was Sexual Alchemy). We started an email correspondence that has continued, off and on, to the present. I was also the first person with a spirit lover to contact Don. Soon thereafter, another woman, Sheila Lord, contacted Don and he put us in contact with each other. Don has since sent many people to my spirit companion communities or given my email address for direct contact. Meanwhile, I continue to meet others on my own or through Meridjet. I’ve witnessed several people’s first meeting with their spirit companions, and on more than one occasion, Meridjet has been instrumental in that meeting.

Spirit Companion Communities and Outreach

In 2001, I was having so much trouble finding others with spirit companions that I started a Yahoogroup for people in this unusual situation. Things were very slow for about 2 years. Then, in the summer of 2003, it really took off and since then I’ve met hundreds of people with or seeking SCs. Currently, there are well over 100 members on the Yahoo list, and in 2004 I started a LiveJournal community. I also created the first incarnation of this website, spiritcompanion.com, in 2005, which is now this blog. There is a new InsaneJournal community as of 2008, which is not active yet and may never pick up. We’ll see.

Meridjet’s Early Encounters

For a long time, Meridjet’s contact with other spiritual beings (as far as my awareness went) was casual and businesslike. He’d do what needed done, then come back to me and that’d be it. Starting in 2003, he had one associate among other SCs whom he was mentoring and hanging out with; this was the spirit companion of Shelia. I didn’t notice any unusual absences during this work, but it was clear that the two spirits didn’t need to share space in order to communicate. He led me to talk to Shelia, she and I became friends as he and the other SC became friends. We all worked together quite a bit between late summer of 2003 and March of 2004, during which time Meridjet taught them how to go from dream contact only to a functional conscious connection. This also allowed “D,” the spirit in question, to evolve from his one-note “incubus-like” existence into (or reveal himself as) a being rich in diversity. In March, Shelia and I had our first falling out and we parted ways, then regrouped in October of 2004. It seemed apparent to me that “D” and Meridjet had maintained contact in the interim (though others may disagree). After another year of friendship, Shelia and I elected to break contact permanently, as we felt we were doing each other more harm than good.

On two separate occasions, he brought “D” here to see me, and I was able to perceive him. I could (subtly) see him, hear him, and feel his energy signature clearly. I am also able to discern spirits’ energy signatures via their human contacts through instant messaging, if they are in contact at the time. Since that first visit from “D,” I’ve seen many other spirits, most of them companions of friends.

We have met an enormous quantity of people with spirit companions, and I’ve taught dozens to astral project with a method I call “phasewalking.” The level of activity on the subtle planes is substantial at times and quiet at others, because our Work tends to cycle. There’s usually someone around who is eager to participate. I’ve coined several new terms to describe this work. One is phasewalking as mentioned above, which is a conscious form of astral projection that can be done while fully aware of your physical surroundings. As I wrote earlier, Meridjet has introduced several other people to their spirit companions, as well, and has gained something of a following. He brought my ex-roommate’s companion to her in 2006. In most cases, we will Work with the person and their new companion for an extended period to help them adjust, at which point most people continue on their own. It’s become a sort of second calling for both of us, but even when he’s not actively bringing companions to others, other spirits will visit our astral space (a house or the construct of a house). Some of these visits occur during group phasewalking sessions that I jokingly call “SPIN,” for “synchronized phasewalking interactive network.” But it’s a safe bet that most visits occur when I’m unaware of them. Meridjet has his own life, too.
