For those of you who’ve subscribed to my book posts, I have a question. As I’ve rearranged (again!) many of the topics that have already been posted and need to set up some new book series posts, I have a couple of options, and I’d like your opinion on which I should choose. I can:

  1. Add the new material out of context. Admittedly, this is probably not the best choice.
  2. Revise the old posts as I add the new, putting the links to the material in the new order on the main Book Series page. This is what I’d like to do but I don’t want to mess people up, and I don’t know if it will unless you tell me. This would mean some new posts interspersed with the old, but the old may well be updated. I can indicate on the links list which have been altered.
  3. Leave the old posts as they are, and begin again with the new material plus the previously published material to provide context. This will obviously create redundancy for the portions already posted.
  4. What do you think I should do? Do you have any suggestions not included here? Thanks for taking the time to respond!

Comments

  1. I think the third option is the best one to avoid confusion.

  2. aydira aydira says:

Yeah I think number three might be best too since we’d want to reread the redone parts anyway!

  3. Sarenth Sarenth says:

I agree. The last option is a good one; sometimes when I rewrite I rip out material that may have been good. Having multiple versions to access is a good thing.
