A Long Time Away

Wanna tickle?

I have been away too long. We are well on the mend here, coughing still but out of any danger. Kara is feeling better. Things are returning to normal, though I have a lot of catching up to do, and not just on this blog. I’ve got writing, editing the magazine (which is due to publish the Beltane issue by the end of the month), housecleaning and gardening (the latter of which is priority while it’s still relatively cool outside), art stuff to catch up on, and now I’m doing graphic art commissions on Subeta. It’s shaping up to be an active summer. I know you all will bear with me as I reorganize my schedule again. Getting back to normal is hard after losing so much momentum.

Meridjet sort of disappeared following Alanora’s visit here in March, and I heard nothing from him until yesterday. Evidently he’s been helping her spirit companion with some important subtle-level work for her. No idea yet what he has in store for me following his January proclamation that he would be leaving off the teacher stuff and focusing on our relationship. I might get bored… ;)

I haven’t really had much in the way of interesting or blog-worthy news. Thankfully Alanora came along at just the right time with her own story. I offered her a place here until she no longer cares to use it. Barring unforeseen and cataclysmic complications, anyway. I hope you all enjoy what she has to offer. There’s also been a bit of activity on the forums if you care to check it out.

Please leave any questions or concerns in comments, and I’ll try to live something interesting enough to post here soon. Interesting in a good way, I hope! Ciao.

Rawr! Glad you’re back in action again. Sickness always makes it hard to get back in the loop. I’m also really glad Kara’s feeling better. I was quite worried for a while there.

Also, it’s good to know that Meridjet’s not too far from you still, even if he’s no doubt getting into trouble with Vince. Heh heh.

Glad to hear. I’ve gotten living situations figured out so you will probably hear much more from me comparative to late. I hope you both stay hale and hearty!
