- Jupiter in Pisces — Expansive Change — Jan 17, 2010 to Jun 4, 2010 and Sept 9, 2010 to Jan 22, 2011.
- Jupiter in Aries — Large New Beginnings — Jun 6, 2010 to Sept 9, 2010 and Jan 22, 2022 to Jun 4, 2011.
- Saturn in Virgo — Disciplined Boundaries — Sept 2, 2007 to Oct 29, 2009 and Apr 7, 2010 to Jul 7, 2010.
- Saturn in Libra — Structured Balance — Dec 29, 2009 to Apr 7, 2010 and Jul 21, 2010 to Oct 5, 2012.

- Chiron and Neptune are conjunct in Aquarius all year with Jupiter joining them late in 2009.
- Then Jupiter moves to Pisces and is conjunct Uranus most of the year.
- Think of the years of 2010-2012 as the “Grand Cross years.” Things heat up starting in mid May, as Saturn opposes Jupiter and Uranus. Then, Uranus enters Aries and, a few days later, is joined by the Moon and Jupiter at exactly 0° Aries. Meanwhile, Pluto is at 3-4°+ Capricorn and Saturn is at 28° Virgo, forming a T-square with the Moon, Jupiter, and Uranus. Mars at 29°+ Leo opposes Neptune and Chiron. The key is to channel all this energy in constructive ways.
- The June 26, 2010 eclipse: The lunar eclipse at 4° + Capricorn conjoins Pluto and activates a grand cross involving the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, the Moon, and Saturn. These are all within 5° of the four cardinal points. This will be a very important event, for better or worse, with a huge impact on global events.
- August 6-7, 2010: A cardinal grand cross is formed, involving Jupiter-Uranus in Aries, Pluto in Capricorn, the Moon in early Cancer, and Venus joining Mars and Saturn in early Libra. The Sun at 15° Leo makes stressful aspects to the entire grand cross. Calm and balance will be needed to deal with the relentless stressful aspects.
Someone took a long time putting this table together. It’s a table of every aspect transiting in 2010. Very easy to read as opposed to a traditional ephemeris. I’ll now move on to my own personal transits and make some notes for myself… you can safely skip the remainder. But check out that link.

Saturn trine Saturn: Inner stability
Beginning of October 2009 until mid July 2010: At this time you can incorporate into yourself the fruits of previous successes, look them over and appreciate them for what they were. The key idea is that you are in a position to understand your life and therefore better able to be in conscious control of it. This is not merely an intellectual understanding, it is born of experience. You have lived through certain things, and now you can proceed on the basis of that understanding.
Your business or professional life will run smoothly at this time. Employers and superiors appreciate your calm, controlled way of handling your work, and they can see the results of your past experience. Relationships, which reflect what you are, are also more stable at this time because of your own inner stability.
Your outlook on life has also reached a point of equilibrium. You have a good understanding of how you look at life, and it works well enough that you may not question it very much. The problem is that this is not a time of testing, so you don’t know how well your ideas will stand up to future crisis. You only know how well they withstood past tests. But the future is always different, and what happens in the future depends upon what is true at that time. Therefore you must keep your mind open and flexible. You only know what you know, and that is not everything. Continue to examine yourself and see what could be improved. Even if your life is satisfactory now, it may not always be.
Saturn trine Jupiter: Enough foresight
Mid November 2009 until end of August 2010: This is a time of balance and order in your life. You may have to work hard for financial gain, but at least your affairs are in order. Your business or professional life is well organized, and you should be making steady progress toward your goals. The gains you make at this time are not strokes of luck, they are the solid results of good organization.
Your greatest asset at this time is that you can see clearly how various parts of your life are working out. You understand the rules, and you are willing to play by them. Your attitude toward life is pragmatic and practical. You are more than usually willing to accept a situation as it is while working patiently to improve it. You are now in a position to make important choices that will greatly affect your future.
Your employers, bosses and other authority figures can help you out now. At other times these people may have seemed to be obstacles to your advancement, but now they are extremely willing to help. This is in part because you make it clear that they will gain by helping you. You are much more capable now of real give-and-take than you have been at other times. When others see this, they are more willing to work on your team.
Older persons may provide opportunities for real insight into your life. From the perspective of their age, you can see how to improve your own life and help it grow.
This is a time to consolidate and buttress various aspects of your life. Put aside money for the future, invest or buy life insurance. Make peace with the difficult aspects of your life or with those people who are potential sources of trouble. In the not-too-distant future it will be difficult to deal with the loose ends you leave now. You have enough foresight now to see this and make the necessary adjustments.
Pluto trine Pluto: Up to you
Beginning of March 2010 until beginning of October 2012: This is a period of stability, in which very deep and perseverant energies lend themselves to you. Whether you make use of them or not is completely up to you. However, if you do decide to use them, there will be potential for inner growth. From this position you can gain deep insights into the functioning of your psyche which might have shocked you at other times.
You get more interested into the deep questions about change and metamorphosis, death, birth and regeneration. You will decline any explanation that doesn’t truly touch the heart of the matter. However, you could show this very attitude also towards less profound issues.
Jupiter opposition Moon: The first move
7 March 2010 until 15 March 2010: This is a time when feelings and emotions play an important part in your life, and relationships based on feelings and emotions become very important. This influence is usually experienced positively as warm feelings within yourself and from others. You feel emotionally very generous and giving. Relationships are usually quite good and rewarding now, and those that you have been building up for years may begin to produce results. You can now decide clearly which ones are worthwhile and which are not.
But there is a negative side to this influence also. It can make you feel very self-indulgent and undisciplined. You may feel that the world “owes me a living,” whether or not you really deserve it. It may also make you feel that others ought to be breaking their back to help you. In personal relationships, you may become very demanding without really offering anything to your partner in return. Instead of reaching out to make things happen in your life, you wait for others to make the first move and become quite angry when people insist that you take some initiative.
Your love relationships and relations with women can be either very good or very bad, probably not anywhere in the middle. It all depends upon your general reaction to this influence. If you are demanding in the manner described above, then your relationships will be bad. But if this influence arouses your feelings of warmth and generosity, they will be quite good. And this is a good way of gauging where you are with this influence, because encounters with others, especially women, will bring out its effects.
Jupiter conjunction Descendant: Mutual growth
28 March 2010 until 6 April 2010: During this period you seek to grow in various ways through your closest contacts with other people. You try to create relationships that will further your life, not in a spirit of selfishness, but in a desire for mutual growth. Often at this time a person will come into your life who offers to help you out in some way, usually through a partnership.
In business, for example, this is an extremely good time to enter into a partnership or a contract with someone. In your personal life, you will work more closely than usual with someone, which will work out very well for you both. If other indications are compatible, you may meet someone who will be important to you romantically, but that is not the usual result of this influence.
This is also an excellent time to seek out someone for counseling, especially a lawyer, but also any other kind of counselor. Related to this, incidentally, is that if you have a case in court at this time, it will work out as you want it to.
A marriage or intimate relationship should work better than usual now. You and your partner will be anxious to help each other grow and to further each other’s interests in all possible ways. You do not want to restrict your partner or be restricted by him in any possible way. Because you understand the need for freedom of individual self-expression within your relationship, you will try to find ways to bring that about. If your relationship is not working out very well in general, this influence can have either of two effects. It can either bring a time of healing in the relationship so that it ceases to be such a problem, or it can make your desire for freedom so strong that you break off the relationship altogether. At any rate, the problems themselves will cease. And a relationship that does break up under this influence (this only applies to one that is on the rocks) will do so relatively amicably.
Jupiter sextile Jupiter: In good working order
Mid June 2010 until beginning of February 2011: This is a time of balance and equilibrium in your life, when all your affairs seem to run smoothly and without much effort on your part. It is a time when you can relax and take it easy for a while, knowing that your life is in good working order. This is also a time when growth seems to occur without much effort – growth in consciousness, in your profession, in your social life or wherever you feel that personal growth is important.
But this is not really a time when you should just enjoy yourself. You should do that, to be sure, but you should also be examining your life to see what needs to be done. It is important to think this way now because the equilibrium that is characteristic of this period enables you to look about yourself with reasonable calm and detachment. It is much harder to achieve a perspective when you are in the middle of some major and possibly chaotic change.
This is a good time to achieve perspective in all possible senses of the word. It is a good time for education, either formal or informal, for getting in touch with yourself through self-awareness studies, or for seeing the larger world through travel.
Business transactions or negotiations are also favored now, and this is a good time to expand your business, as long as it is within reason. Legal affairs also usually run quite smoothly.
