Snow, Two Years in a Row
Hey, that rhymes.
Yes, here in southeast Texas where it isn’t ever supposed to snow, we’ve had snow already this year, and this is the second year in a row. We got almost six inches last year. If anyone’s interested, I’ll post pictures of today’s >1-inch accumulation, and of the unprecedented fall color we’ve been getting around here. It’s amazing! I’ve been telling everyone who’ll listen, for weeks, that it’s going to be a hard winter.
I’ve been decorating for the holidays (last weekend), going to a paint class I can’t afford (because I’ve been invited to sit in for free), and basically getting into all sorts of trouble. Rending the Veil’s Yule issue will be out on the 15th, and I’ve been too busy to work on it. It’s nice to have a life.
It’s literally freezing here now, though the snow has melted and will turn to ice overnight, which is why I’m not leaving the house. People around here drive like lunatics in the rain; snow and ice = idiots causing mass destruction, and I prefer to remain safe from them, kthx.
I’m still working on holiday cards, so if you want one, better email me your address.
