Moved!
This site has been moved to a new hosting company and a new server. There was some down time last night because I got sucked into watching Leverage with my daughter. We watched 3 episodes on the DVR, and then I checked the site to find a database error. Fixed it right around midnight, and all is well. I may even learn a thing or two if I keep this up.
I’ve also moved Living with Magick and Donald Tyson’s Supernatural World. (He controls the site but I host it, and I technically own the domain though he pays for it every year.) Those sites won’t switch over for another couple of hours, but I’m going to bed so if there’s any problem I’ll have to take care of it tomorrow. They’re working fine. I started this post last night.
I’ve got two other domains besides this one and the above two. One is visualmagick.com (which I’m willing to sell if anyone wants it) and the other is karasunaki.com. Karasunaki is Japanese for “Cry of the crow,” and someday we hope to put a store there. We’ll see.
New Year’s Resolutions
I thought I’d posted about my new year’s resolutions, but I guess not since I can’t find any sign of them. I think last year was the first time in a decade that I made any resolutions (I can’t remember what they were). This year I have made a couple as well. One, I want to get organized, a process I began this past year and that I want to complete so that it’s easier to maintain. I tend to be a pile-maker. I will organize everything, then make a bunch of piles again, then organize it again after a couple of months, etc. I’m hoping to develop a system that will reduce the pile-making. Two, I want to choose my projects carefully and with the intent of always applying my efforts toward my overall desired direction, instead of scattering my energies. Three, I want to develop a better system of time management. I’ve ordered a couple of books I hope will be helpful. I’ll let you know what I think of them.
Photos
I took these pictures maybe 20 minutes ago, as the sun was setting. Texas skies are usually pretty boring, but tonight there was a fine display. As below:
