An Old Quote From Meridjet

This was waiting for me on the next day of the archives, when I looked at the tab I never closed yesterday. The post is from November 3, 2003 but the quote is older. I found it then, in an old email.

I don’t relate to who I was a few months ago. . . my perspective, my understanding, has changed so much. He says it is always better to relate to now than Then anyway. When you remember, you remember through the lens of today, of now, and that changes the past. [He says] You can’t see Then through Then’s eyes.
