Welcome to the strangest, most unusual blog you’ll probably ever read.
In 1994, Sheta Kaey found herself presented with the unlikely gift of a “spirit lover.” This is her story.
*Quote just above is from Osho Zen Tarot
Meridjet, the spirit in question, is a sort of pumped-up, fully interactive spirit guide, as well as mate and companion. Sheta coined the term “spirit companion” in 1999 while corresponding with author Donald Tyson. More below...
It started in 1993. After a lifetime of involvement in the occult for the distinct purpose of gaining spiritual growth, Sheta and her long-time friend and then roommate, Xanquela, initiated a self-study program into hermetic Qabalah. A lifelong, off and on user of the talking “Ouija®“ board, Sheta finally succeeded in contacting a true guide who demonstrated his ability to inspire results. Half a year of study later, the guide introduced a new spirit, Meridjet, to her.
Evidence of a connection was immediate and the impact of the meeting was intense. Over the next two years, Sheta struggled with doubts for her sanity, and with the support of Xanquela was able to utilize the relationship with Meridjet to the best of her ability at the time. In April of 1996, Meridjet left.
Sheta assumed this separation was permanent, but in April of 1999, three years later, Meridjet returned. He had changed, and become somehow more, what Sheta likes to call “Meridjet10.” From that time on, he has remained with her, teaching her to perceive him more clearly and unassisted (no more Ouija® board). He has taken over the guide duties and increased the intensity of her learning, to the degree that onlookers at times will question his motives. He specializes in what has come to be called “ordeal work,” and is happy to accept the occasional extra student, who then find their lessons intertwined with Sheta’s, to everyone’s benefit. He’s a tough teacher: some people can hack it, and some people can’t.
This blog will contain the story of this relationship and the various developments of those involved. Launching January 2008, the blog will contain both current information and archival history. Subscribe to the feed and watch this journey unfold.
The links below show numbers that do not reflect the total posts in the subfolders, so click the plus signs to get a more accurate count of the various categories. Don't assume any are empty, for example.
I've tried to keep the bulk of the categories in subfolders beneath a few main parent folders, so that the list remains neat and takes up little space. I encourage you to explore. :)
I get this card, The Fool, most often with the Osho Zen deck; it loves me. The first paragraph is very descriptive of my reaction to Meridjet's work on me —
"A fool is one who goes on trusting; a fool is one who goes on trusting against all his experience. You deceive him, and he trusts you; and you deceive him again, and he trusts you; and you deceive him again, and he trusts you. Then you will say that he is a fool, he does not learn. His trust is tremendous; his trust is so pure that nobody can corrupt it."
This is a positive thing, in case your fear tells you that I am allowing myself to be abused. See the rest —
"Be a fool in the Taoist sense, in the Zen sense. Don´t try to create a wall of knowledge around you. Whatsoever experience comes to you, let it happen, and then go on dropping it. Go on cleaning your mind continuously; go on dying to the past so you remain in the present, herenow, as if just born, just a babe.
"In the beginning it is going to be very difficult. The world will start taking advantage of you...let them. They are poor fellows. Even if you are cheated and deceived and robbed, let it happen, because that which is really yours cannot be robbed from you, that which is really yours nobody can steal from you.
"And each time you don´t allow situations to corrupt you, that opportunity will become an integration inside. Your soul will become more crystallized."
